Preview of Eskimo Foe Commission

Here'e is the final proof for a project I've been working on with Shefield based Graphic Design company Eskimo Foe. The project is a collaboration between Youth Music, Toot Hill School and us to promote music making amongst young people in schools who would not normally get to experience worrkshops due to their geographical disadvantage.
The publication features photos and testimonials from the project accompanied by Futurism references by myself and Eskimo. Take a peek!

Work taken on by Nottingham Contemporary!

After a meeting last week I'm pleased to announce that the Nottingham Contemporary (due to open 14th November) will be stocking 6 of my card designs! My cards will feature alongside the likes of David Shrigly and Jon Burgerman- very exciting.

My photo
Inspired by Circuses, Victoriana, and Surrealism I create collage’s combining the past and present through a mixture of found imagery, illustration, photography and drawing. Working with collage and my trusted photocopier I create all of my work by hand, frequenting second hand shops, car boot sales and markets to build up my ever growing archive of second hand books, magazines, photographs and postcards. I always create my work by hand, only using a computer for layout at final stages. I like my illustration to have a certain tangibility, a quality that cannot be captured by digital means alone, even if that is as small as a blob of ink or a smudge on a photocopy.
